Crafts and more crafts… And cards… And decorating… <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

So, I’ve got a lot going on.  Two different craft projects.  Plus Christmas decorating.  Plus Christmas cards (expensive and so much work.  Why do I do these?  Like I can’t break the streak.  That’s why).  And tomorrow I gotta pick up the Thanksgiving ham.  So my counter is full. <\/p>\n\n\n

Speaking of crafts, you know it’s the good shit when there’s a skull and crossbones warning on it.  <\/p>\n\n\n

Actually, that wasn’t the good shit.\u00a0 It fucked me over.\u00a0 It’s supposed to go over the top of EVERYTHING.\u00a0 Including a few layers of sealant.\u00a0 I wish it had specified that.\u00a0 The second I put it on, my enamel paint just dissolved.\u00a0 I found out about the sealant thing when I googled “what the fucking fuck.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These paw print ornaments are killing me.\u00a0 But I won’t give in.\u00a0 As I told you, the top coat I previously used was old or something and left yellowish bubbles and streaks.\u00a0 Maybe THIS SHIT could have saved it.\u00a0 So I got mineral spirits to try to get it off.\u00a0 After so much elbow grease, I had barely anything off.\u00a0 So we brute-force it: repaint.\u00a0 Now keep in mind, everything I do to these takes two days.\u00a0 One day for front to dry, then another for back.\u00a0 And then actually another for the writing on the back in the paint step.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I repainted.\u00a0 They look amazing.\u00a0 Time for top coat!\u00a0 FUCK ME it disolved the paint.\u00a0 So repaint the ones I tried and fucked up.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m going with something I know this time, bitches.\u00a0 Modpodge.\u00a0 Super gloss Modpodge.\u00a0 Got the back done and second coat on the front now.\u00a0 It says you can do a second coat after an hour (I waited a day) but it takes FOUR MOTHER FUCKING WEEKS TO CURE?! Sweet baby Jesus, are you kidding me?\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For mine, that’s fine.\u00a0 They’re dry to the touch so I can hang them.\u00a0 But I gotta mail my brother-in-law his!\u00a0 What if the packaging leaves dents?\u00a0 Or sticks to it for some reason?\u00a0 FUCK.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, this weekend, I needed craft supplies (enamel paint in red).\u00a0 It’s cheapest at Hobby Lobby.\u00a0 I know that is insane, but it’s true. $7.99 online or $2.39 at Hobby Lobby.\u00a0 It was also half off Christmas and I needed lights for our tree.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y’all, I’ve never seen Hobby Lobby so chaotic and full.\u00a0 FULL.\u00a0 The giant ass parking lot was full.\u00a0 You could barely move in there.\u00a0 The longest string of lights they had was 100 count, so fuck it, I got a ton of those.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I saw these cute blowmold Christmas Trees at the front.\u00a0 Would possibly be cute to have.\u00a0 And half off!\u00a0 I had to find one with a price tag though.\u00a0 Holy Mary mother of god! FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS EACH.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are y’all marketing to?  Who?  A fucking blowmold?  Seriously?  What the fuck is happening? Tariffs haven’t kicked in yet, y’all! <\/p>\n\n\n

My plants are doing well.\u00a0 Look at my Thanksgiving Cactus of Friendship blooming right on time! I love how the red turns to magenta on the tips of the petals!\u00a0 Stunning.\u00a0 Today the second layer opened up!<\/p>\n\n\n

Also, husband helped me put up the main Christmas tree because my anxiety was killing me.\u00a0 So I had to move plants around.\u00a0 Plus the end table.\u00a0 And I’m over wintering some things (I haven’t even brought in the lemongrass from the garage yet).\u00a0 So Louie is now… JUNGLE CAT.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n

How’s menopause (perimenopause)? I’m glad you asked.\u00a0 Terrible.\u00a0 I’m not having nightly panic attacks anymore.\u00a0 I need to remind myself they were nightly.\u00a0 But I do still have them around once a week. Also, I’m moody and I’m hot.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went to the Venardos Circus for my birthday.\u00a0 It was going to be 50s and down into 40s when it let out (fahrenheit).\u00a0 So maybe long sleeves? I wore a thin long sleeve hoodie.\u00a0 Big mistake.\u00a0 The second I got in Ks heated car I was like, I have made a terrible decision.\u00a0 Even inside the tent.\u00a0 I switched seats with husband because K2s commentary is honest to god, half the joy of the circus.\u00a0 But when I switched and realized the seat beside him was open, it was heaven!\u00a0 I wasn’t between two hot people! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, I’ve reached the age of “I have to pee.”. Like, I used to be able to hold my bladder for hours.\u00a0 Gotta pee?\u00a0 It’s fine, I’ll go when I get home.\u00a0 No more.\u00a0 Now my body gives me like one “I gotta pee.” Then, if I ignore it, all the following “I have to pee” signals will be accompanied by a small bit of pee.\u00a0 Too much information?\u00a0 WELL ITS MY LIFE.\u00a0 So at the circus, my brain was like “I gotta pee.” I’m not allowed to ignore it anymore so I had to use a freaking porta potty!  The shame!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
